Called to serve First Church in January 2002, Alison brings to her ministry a wealth of life experience, creativity, a desire to connect people in meaningful faith experiences, and a passion for bicycling ministry. She is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University and Andover Newton Theological School.

When asked about her ministry of Parish Life at First Church, Alison says her focus is on building community and strengthening discipleship. She notes: “Our Small Group focus has been key in helping people find connection with one another and their faith. When we gather in small groups of 10 – 12 people we have opportunities to share our faith, ask questions and walk more closely with one another. Our new Home Disciples Groups have been especially powerful in deepening our both our community and faith relationships. We are all enriched when people gather and share their stories. I am very blessed to minister with our dedicated parishioners and staff.”
